An (organizational) constellation is an instrument that makes it possible to represent issues of developing organizations three-dimensionally. This makes it easier to look at and solve systemic blockages. With the help of structural constellations it is possible to find an ACTUAL analysis within a few hours, as well as a solution idea for the system by simulating different alternatives.
This method is therefore particularly suitable for preparing entrepreneurial decisions – whether it is a company-wide transformation process, a team situation, a location issue or an important personnel decision.
The result of a structural constellation (according to Insa Sparrer and Prof. Matthias Varga von Kibèd) can be the transparency of existing structures, but also mainly the grasping of better alternatives, which have not only been cognitively recognized through the constellation, but also directly experienced. This experience of change in space is often already the first step towards the implementation of solutions.
The process of a company constellation looks something like this: After the first consultation in which the problem is discussed, a constellation appointment is arranged. We organize the necessary framework: a large room and the so-called “representatives” who function as elements of the issue. These representatives are placed in the room by you as the topic giver, quite intuitively. This creates an initial picture that is often already very meaningful and in which you can usually easily recognize your system. Ar the latest during the questioning of the representatives, you will see old familiar and also new things that will help you to solve your problem. After the constellation, we sit down together to develop a plan of action with the help of the constellation protocol, which very likely includes perspectives that you have not seen before.
